Poet and writer
(b. 31 January 1924, Baku, Azerbaijan-d. 26 February 1996, Baku) His real name
was Ali Kulu Oğlu Cavadzade. His first poems were published in the newspapers
when he was in secondary school in Baku. First, he dealt with farming in Çanahbulag
Village in Erdebil, then he worked as worker in Zencan, Miyana and Astara. He
joined to the movement of national independence with his gun and pen. After the
National Government established, he worked as the director of education
department of Ministry of Education and tried to publish the books in his own
language and delivered to people.
He
was given the title "Tude"
(People) by Poets Council in Tabriz. He was honored with the medal "21
Azer" which was the greatest award of National Government. After the
collapse of National Government, he returned to Baku and worked in different
publications. He studied in Baku State University, Faculty of Philology
(1947-1952). Then he worked as redactor in Azerneşr Publishing House (1952-54).
He continued his higher education in Baku Higher School of Party (1947-52).
Then he served in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan
(1956-1960) and as branch manager in the newspaper Azerbaycan (1960-65). He was e member of Writers Union of
Azerbaijan. His books near to fifty were published in Baku, Moscow and Tabriz.
