Poet and author, musician. He was born on Monday, April 01, 1935, Bayburt. He completed his primary school education in Bayburt and Tercan (1946), secondary school in Turhal (1954) and the Teachers School in Tripoli (1956). He worked as a teacher at primary and secondary schools in Erciş, Istanbul and Ergani. He worked as a cello artist in Istanbul Municipality Conservatory and State Classical Turkish Music choir since 1963. He received music training in Germany.

His four compositions composed from the poems of Necip Fazil Kisakurek, Talat Sait Halman and Ahmet Yesevi were vocalized in 1980-84 Istanbul Fesitval programs. His poems and articles on music were published in journals Musiki Mecmuası (1964), Türk Edebiyatı (1985-89), Yeni Orkun (1989). With his work named Çoruh Çağlar Nenni Söyler, he was awarded with jury speaicl award in Necip Fazil Kısakurek Scenario Contest.
