Journalist and writer (b. 1898, Thessalonica / Greece – d. 1968, Baku / Azerbaijan). She graduated from Thessalonica Progress High School and was educated for a while at the French High School. In the years of Balkan Wars, she settled in İstanbul with her family. She went to the United States with her husband, Mehmet Zekeriya (Sertel), and studied sociology at Columbia University. Later she was not permitted to return home with her husband and died in Baku. Her articles were published in the newspapers and reviews Resimli Ay, Tan, and Görüşler.

Fikret-Akif Kavgası (The Quarrel of Fikret and Akif, 1941), Tevfik Fikret (Tevfik Fikret, 1946, with the title of İlericilik Gericilik Kavgasında Tevfik Fikret-Tevfik Fikret in the Struggle of Progressiveness and Reaction, 1999), Roman Gibi (Like A Novel, 1970).
