Playwright (b. 1936, Nallıhan / Ankara – d. 27 April 1977, Ankara). Brother of Adalet Ağaoğlu. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law. He lived in Paris in 1960 for two years. When he returned, he established the Arena Theatre. He was an actor and director there and after the death of Asaf Çiğiltepe (1967), he ran the Ankara Art Theatre. Later on he settled in İstanbul and founded the İstanbul Art Theatre (1970).

In his high school years, he published a monthly review, Mavi (1952-56, 22 volumes) with his friends, and wrote poems, stories and theater reviews. He is known for his plays. He was chosen as the best director by the Ankara Art Appreciation Association in 1965 with his play Yarın Cumartesi (Tomorrow is Saturday).
