Poet and writer (b. 13 February 1958, İstanbul - d. 13 October 1987, İstanbul). She attended Kadıköy Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa Primary School, Kadıköy Education College and graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of English Language and Literature (1985). Her graduate thesis was “Sylvia Plath Şiiri Üzerine Bir Çözümleme” (An Analysis of Sylvia Plath’s Poetry). She worked for the Encyclopedia Britannica for some time and gave English lectures. She was married to Kaan Önal. She committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of her house in Kızıltoprak. Her poems were published in the reviews Şiir Atı and Sombahar. Her books, which were published posthumously, were prepared by Günseli İnal. Her grave is located in Karacaahmet.
