Iyad
has almost three decades of experience in financial, retail, real estate,
leisure, entertainment and hospitality sectors in the Middle East & North
Africa (“MENA”) region. Prior to Gateway, Iyad was CEO of Majid Al Futtaim
Group, one of the largest family conglomerates in the MENA region, successfully
driving growth in top line, bottom line, market share and shareholder value.
Before Majid Al Futtaim, Iyad had a long career with International Finance
Corporation including as Director for South Asia based in New Delhi, India, COO
& he was also Head of Asset Management at EFG Hermes based in Egypt between
2001 and 2004. Iyad has a MBA from George Washington University, a BBA from
American University of Beirut and is also a CFA charter holder.
