Historian (b.
1867, İstanbul - d. 1935). He graduated from Law School
and worked at the palace as head secretary (1912-29) and permanent
undersecretary in the Sultan’s private apartments (1920-22). There is important
information in his books about the sultans and politicians that he knew
personally in the last period of the Ottoman Empire
and important events of the time.
