Sociologist (b.
1936, Malatya). He attended primary and secondary schools in Malatya.
He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Language History and Geography,
Department of Philosophy and Sociology. He was appointed as a research assistant
at Erzurum Atatürk University, Faculty of Business Administration. He became a
doctor with his work titled Malakanların
Sosyal Organizasyonu (Social
Organization of the Malaccans). Later, he became assistant professor and
professor. He was also a department head and faculty dean. Following these
posts, he worked at Gazi University, Bolu School of Administrative Sciences and
later at Gebze Institute of High Technology. Türkdoğan is known for his
research and studies in the field of sociology. As a result of his studies, he
was awarded the Writers Union of Turkey Sociology Award in 1995. He has had
many articles published in various reviews.
