Nursel Aras

Story writer. She was born in May 1, 1956 in Iğdır. She completed her education in Van’s sub district Canik because of her father’s official duty. She completed Van primary teaching School for Girls and became a teacher when she was fifteen. She was graduated from Undergraduate Program of Education in Anadolu University. After she had worked in Istanbul for a long time, she moved to Bursa. She prepared and hosted the “İki İnsan” show in private radios, worked as script writer for advertising agencies. She attended to Yücel Balku Öykü Workshop organized by Bursa Bookstore, she wrote Kara Üzüm Salkımı Hüzünler (2004) tale book. This book was vocalized and was prepared as an audio book on a CD for visually handicapped people. She continued to her studies while she was working as a primary school teacher in a private school. She is a member of Association of Men of Letters, Turkey Writers Union and Bursa Press and Art Association.
