Poet (b. 1956,
Eskişehir). He attended
the Ankara Aydınlıkevler High School, and graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department
of Sociology (1982). After working as an assistant at the School of Press and
Publication (1983-84), he entered the advertisement companies. His articles and
poems were published in the reviews Felsefe Dergisi, Somut, Yusufçuk, Türk
Dili, Gösteri, Varlık and
Yazko-Edebiyat after 1979. He wrote columns in the newspaper Radikal.
In 1981, he ranked the second at the
competition held by the review Gösteri with his poem Unutulmuş Bir
Yaz İçin (For a Forgotten Summer). Besides, he received the awards of Halil
Kocagöz, Behçet Necatigil, and the Golden Orange, as well as the Cahit Külebi
Special Award at the Orhon Murat Arıburnu Awards.
