Poet
(b. 7 December 1919, İstanbul - d. 17 March 1978, Ankara). After receiving
elementary education at İstanbul İstiklal High School and Ankara Gazi High
School (1938) he completed his studies at Istanbul University, Faculty of
Medicine (1944). He worked as a doctor at Ankara Numune Hospital, Turhal
Sugar Factory (1948), the General Directorate of the Ankara Sugar Factory
(1959) and the Etimesgut Sugar Factory.
He
is famous for his poems, essays and radio broadcasts. Beginning in 1938, his
poems were published in the reviews İnkılapçı Gençlik, Yücel, Ülkü, Millet,
İstanbul and after
