Writer. He was born on February 18, 1919 in Lefke /
He worked as a lecturer in Istanbul University, Foreign
Languages School (1959-1960) in America Region Cultural Attaché as a head clerk
(1960-1963), Vice general director of higher education (1960-1963), and as a
lecturer in Istanbul Higher Institute of Islam (MU Faculty of Theology)
(1965-1983). He was retired in 1983. During his lectureship at the Faculty of
Theology; he also taught Educational Sociology, English language and literature
courses in Istanbul Ataturk Education Institute,
His articles, stories and critics were published in
several newspapers and journals such as Yeni İstanbul (art), Bilgi,
Anadolu (1958-59), Bizim Anadolu (1968-75), Emekli Öğretmen, Sönmez,
Bayrak (1980s), Bugün, Diyanet, Millî Gazete, Zaman (1988-89). He is a member of Anatolian Intellectual
Hearths.
He has written an article
in 1973 named Bu Ne Yobazlıktır?, which was about the headscarf; the President
of Constitutional Court, Yekta Güngör Özden has pressed a charge for defamation
case about him; but after the remission of press, the case was dismissed.
