Prof. Dr. Sinan Mavruk, Çukurova Üniversitesi Su Ürünleri Fakültesi, Su Ürünleri Temel Bilimleri, Deniz Biyolojisi bünyesinde görev yapmaktadır. Çalışma alanları: Tarımsal Bilimler, Su Ürünleri, Balıkçılık, Hidrobiyoloji, Deniz Biyolojisi, Yaşam Bilimleri.
Lisans (Çukurova Üniversitesi, 2006), yüksek lisans (Çukurova Üniversitesi, 2009) ve doktora (Çukurova Üniversitesi, 2015) eğitimlerini tamamladı. Doktora tezi: "İskenderun Körfezi İhtiyoplanktonunun Zamansal ve Alansal Değişimi" (2015).
