Öğr. Gör. Dr. Çisil Göktaş, Kocaeli Üniversitesi Rektörlük bünyesinde görev yapmaktadır. Çalışma alanları: Çevre Mühendisliği, Çevre Kimyası, Atıksuların Toplanması ve Arıtımı, Su Kirliliği ve Kontrolü, Su Temini ve Arıtımı.
Lisans (İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, 2008), yüksek lisans (İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, 2013) ve doktora (Kocaeli Üniversitesi, 2021) eğitimlerini tamamladı. Doktora tezi: "İleri oksidasyon yöntemleriyle boyar madde içeren sulu çözeltilerin yeni fotokatalitik elektrotlar ile arıtılabilirliğinin incelenmesi" (2021).
Akademik kayıtlara göre 20 bilimsel yayını bulunmaktadır; bunların 6'sı Web of Science dizinlidir. Uluslararası yayın dizinlerinde 5 yayını kayıtlıdır.
