Prof. Dr. Cemil Çolak, İnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Temel Tıp Bilimleri, Biyoistatistik ve Tıp Bilişimi bünyesinde görev yapmaktadır. Çalışma alanları: Tıp, Sağlık Bilimleri, Temel Tıp Bilimleri, Biyoistatistik ve Tıp Bilişimi, Epidemiyoloji, Bilgi Güvenliği ve Güvenilirliği.
Lisans (Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, 1999), yüksek lisans (İnönü Üniversitesi, 2001) ve doktora (Ankara Üniversitesi, 2005) eğitimlerini tamamladı. Doktora tezi: "Doğrusal olmayan büyüme modelleri ve özilişkinin incelenmesi/ Nonlinear growth models and the study of autocorrelation" (2005).
Akademik kayıtlara göre 531 bilimsel yayını bulunmaktadır; bunların 232'si Web of Science dizinlidir. Uluslararası yayın dizinlerinde 84 yayını kayıtlıdır.
