Lisans (Atatürk Üniversitesi, 1993), yüksek lisans (Atatürk Üniversitesi, 1997) ve doktora (Atatürk Üniversitesi, 2002) eğitimlerini tamamladı. Doktora tezi: "Karaerik Üzüm Çeşidinin Klon Seleksiyonu Yoluyla Islahı Üzerine Bir Araştırma" (2002).
