Storywriter and
novelist (b. 1937, Çağırkan / Kaman / Kırşehir). He graduated from Pazarören (Kayseri) Primary Teacher
Training School (1957) and Gazi Institute of Education, Department of English
Language (1962). He served as teacher and administrator in various parts of
Anatolia, lastly at schools in İstanbul. His articles were published in
journals and reviews such as Yön
(1964), İmece (1965), Vatan (1976), Çağdaş (1985) and Abece
(1987). He remained under arrest for a period of time during the 12 March coup
d’etat.
