Novelist (b. 1900,
Thessalonica – d. 4 October, 1984, İstanbul). She graduated from İstanbul
Fevziye High School. She worked as a teacher in İstanbul and Beirut. She also
worked as a translator for twenty five years at the Osmanlı Bank. She dealt
with the issues of love and hate in all her fifty-two novels.
Her works were appreciated by
a wide readership most of which were women. Many of her novels were adapted for
the cinema. Some of her books were adaptations and were published with the
message from “the narrator.”
