Physician,
politician, deputy, minister. She was born in Denizli in 1979. Her father's
name is Niyazi, her mother's name is Gulseren and her family name before
marriage is Bostanci. One of her two
sisters, Selma Aliye Kavaf is also a politician. She completed her primary and
secondary school in Denizli. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of
Medicine in 1983. She worked as a physician in various health institutions. She
completed her expertise in Switzerland Bern University Hospital. She worked as
a physician in Zeynep Kamil and Numune Hospitals. She opened her clinic in
1998.
She was among the founders of JDP
established under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on August 14, 2001.
Sema Ramazanoğlu
is among the founders of JDP and she was elected as Denizli deputy in November
1, 2015 elections. She became the Minister of Family and Social Policies in the
JDP government established on November 24, 2015. She is married with the politician
Yildirim Mehmet Ramazanoglu and she is the mother of two children. She speaks
German and English.
