Poet and writer (b. 5 May 1940, Oğuldere village / Lachin / Azerbaijan). His full name is Ağa Aliyev. He completed his secondary education in Qorçu Village. He graduated from Agdam Village Dispositional High School (1957) and Maksim Gorky Institute of Literature. He worked as a secretary and writer at Edebiyat ve Güzel Sanat newspaper, as a manager at Writers Union of Azerbaijan, Natavan Club. He did doctorate in the field of Azerbaijan Folk. He is still working as an assistant professor at Baku State University, Department of World Literature.

He began to write poem in 1958. His first poem (Çoban-Shepherd) was published in Lenin Yolu Newspaper which was published in Agdam the other works were published in different reviews. He has been a member of Writers Union of Azerbaijan since 1969.
