Poet (b. 1929, Malatya). He attended primary and secondary school in Malatya. He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Medicine (1949).
He worked as a doctor in the Gemlik
Social Security Foundation and the Gemlik Nitrogen Industry Company and
independently.
The poems of Hacıtahiroğlu, one of the leading poets of his day to use prosodic meter, were published in the reviews, Yedigün, Hergün, Büyük Doğu, Çınaraltı, Türk Yurdu, Türk Dili, Yelken, Türk Edebiyatı, Diriliş, Hisar, Millî Kültür from 1946. His satirical poems were published under the title Mayın Tarlası (The Land of Mines) and Isırgan Çiçekleri (Nettle Flowers) in Millî Gazete; his biographies and poems were periodically published in the review Diriliş.
