Poet (b. 17 December 1905, Sarıvelli, Kazak, Azerbaijan-d. 1990). After attending Kazak Teacher Training School, he worked as teacher in Karameryem and Bığır villages of Gökçay province. He graduated from Moscow State University (1926-29). He served as clerk and director in schools and official agencies besides in various newspapers and reviews in Azerbaijan.

His first poem was published in the newspaper Genç İşçi in 1928. He represented Azerbaijan in foreign countries. He made translations from Hakani and Pushkin. He wrote his poems in the form of folk poetry. His environment that grew him up had very important role in his poems. Some of his works were translated into foreign languages.
