Storywriter and playwright (b. 1952, İstanbul). He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (1975). In the year he graduated from university, he established the Ankara Children’s Theatre and worked there as an artist. Between 1980-1987, he was a professional text writer. He continued his work writing program texts for radio stations and television channels in Ankara.

He collected the Sabahattin Ali Short Story Award in 1984 with Matinede Mükremin (Mükremin at the Matinée), collected the second rank at the Haldun Taner Short Story Award in 1998 and won the Nasreddin Hoca Short Story Award with Sürpriz Konuklar (Unexpected Guests). His plays Hoşçakal İstanbul (Goodbye İstanbul), Çaylaklar (Rookies), Sevgili Tiyatro (Dear Theatre), Kâşif-i Eyvah (Discoverer of Alas) and Kırmızı Balkon (The Red Balcony) were staged and collected the Playwriting Award from the Salihli Municipality, the Playwriting Award of the Ministry of Culture and the Playwriting Award of the Municipality of Kadıköy.
