Poet (b. 22 December 1963, Kırklareli). He attended
primary and secondary schools in İstanbul and graduated from Istanbul
University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Sociology (1986). He worked as
a program consultant at the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation and was in
business for a while. He worked as an editor at Yapı Kredi Publications. He
published the reviews Geniş Zamanlar (3 issues, 1990-91) with İbrahim
Kıbrıs and Göçebe (7 issues, 1995-98) with three of his friends. He continues
working in İstanbul and still works at the Turkish Radio and Television
Corporation. He is a member of the Writers Syndicate of Turkey.
His first poem was published in the review Yeryüzü
Konukları (1984, single issue) and his other poems have been published in
the reviews Şiir Atı, Fanatik, Bürde, Yönelişler, Düşler, Yedi İklim,
Geniş Zamanlar, Sonbahar, Göçebe, kitap-lık and Kaşgar.
