Poet (b. 1929, Ağın, Elazığ - d. 21 August 1992, İstanbul). He attended primary school in Ağın and the Village Institutes in Ladik, Akpınar and Akçadağ villages (1947). After working as a primary school teacher and educational director (1947-64), he first became an inspector of education (1964-66), then a deputy manager at the Ministry of National Education (1967-70), a department manager (1970-74), a deputy director (1975), the director of the State Books (1975-77) and finally the general secretary of Turkish Music at the State Conservatory (1977-78). He retired in 1978. After retirement, he worked for the review Türk Edebiyatı (1978).

His poems were published in the reviews Orkun, Devlet, Defne, Yeni Fırat (Elazığ), Aras, Türkeli and Türk Edebiyatı after 1950. He generally wrote epics in verse in the style of Nihal Atsız with the theme of pre-Islamic Turkish history along with an approach of Turkish nationalism.
