  Author and translater ( b.1934 Zonguldak ) He graduated from Zonguldak Çelikler High School.(1953) , İstanbul University Literature Faculty  Department of French Language and Literature (1960) .He worked as french teacher im Kozan (Adana ), Çarşamba (Samsun), Zonguldak High Schools. He gave up teaching in 1972 and established a bookstore and ‘Z’ publishing house and managed. After he had published his poems, stories, critics and translations he left writing for a short period of time .His works have been published in Varlık, Türk Dili, Soyut, Gelecek, Yeditepe, Yansıma Rewievs since 1959. He won Yeni Dergi Competition Award with ‘İnce Memet’ (Thin Memet) in 1968, Milliyet Publications Novel Award with ‘Pansiyon Huzur’ ( Pansion of Peace )in 1974. He received Turkish Language Institute Award with his novel ‘ Ölümün Ağzı’ (Death’s Mouth) in 1979.

He also wrote plays ‘Pansion of  Peace’ and ‘Fare’yi Öldürmek ‘(To Kill A Mouse) have been adapted to theatre. His work ‘Death’s Mouth’ has been translated to russion and published. His novel ‘Genelevde Yas’ (Mourning At Whore House) has been adapted to cinema.

PLAY: Plastik Hayatlar sah.1981-82 (Plastic Lifes, staged 1981-82), Zor Günler sah.1987 (Hard Days, staged 1987), Aşağıdakiler (sah.1991 (Lower Class staged 1991).
