Oyuncu and playwright (b. 1850, İstanbul - d. 1898). He was the first Muslim stage actor who acted according to Western understanding. He acted first in Ayyar Hamza (The Vagabond Hamza), which was staged at the Ottoman Theater and directed by Güllü Agop (1871). He gave Turkish lessons to Muslim and Armenian artists who performed in that theater. He became part of the Mınakyan society in 1885.

 WORKS:

İdbar ve İkbal (Bad Luck and Good Luck, play, 1874), Nedâmet Yahut Hırsız Evlat (Regret or the Thief Kid, play, 1875). Both plays were staged at the Ottoman Theater.
