His first play
was published in the journal Hareket (1927),
his first stories were published in newspaper Haber (1935). He dealt with National Struggle and bureaucracy
issues. He won the third prize in the Republican People’s Party 1947 Play
Competition with his play Bir Gemi (A Ship).
