Investigative writer. He was born in Istanbul in 1948. He graduated from Saint Michel French Secondary School and Robert Academy.  He graduated from Robert College Vocational School (Boğaziçi University) Chemistry Engineering Department in 1970. He received his masters’ degree from Loughborough University of Technology Operational Economy in England in 1971.

Besalel submitted papers and articles in 50th Year Industry Congress. He received an award of second place in 1998 International Contest “Türkiye ve Osmanlı Yahudileri” which was organized for 50th year of Şalom newspaper and later his award winner work was arranged as a book titled “Osmanlı ve Türk Yahudileri”. He has published work titled “Ünlü Yahudiler” all around the world and his other works are about Judaism and History of Jews.
