Poet (b. 1936, Aksu village / Kabardino / Balkar Republic). He began writing poems in 1958. He graduated from Kabardino-Balkar University, Faculty of Philology, Department of Russian-Balkar in 1964. He worked as an editor in Elbruz Publications between the years 1964 and 1976. For long years he worked as the Editor of the literature periodicals Şuyohluk and Mingi Tau. His books were published in Balkar language and in Russian language in Nalchik and in Moscow; in addition his poems were published in various languages. He made translations of Pushkin, Shakespeare, Yesevi, Molierè works to Balkar language. He got the awards of Kabardino-Balkar Republic Youth Literature Award (1970) and Republic State Award. He is a member of Soviet Socialist Republican Union - Russian Federation Writer’s Association.
