Poet and author. He was born in Pinarbesevli (Bojurovo) village,
Razgrad, Bulgaria on January 12, 1939. He completed his primary school
education in his village, his secondary school education in neighboring village
Nasrettin (Bisertsi) and high school in Kubrat town. After completing his high
school education, he worked as a teacher for two years as he loved that job. As
Turkish course was restricted and banned in Bulgarian schools, he started
medical training. After completing Haskovo Medical Institute (1965), he worked
as a health officer at Razgrad Lipnik village for twenty four years. He
immigrated to Turkey in 1989 and had an opportunity to publish his books he
could not publish in Bulgaria. He continued with his job for ten more years at
Çorlu State Hospital and retired upon his will in 2000. He is a member of Corlu
Authors' Association and ILESAM.
His first poem was published in Halk
Gençliği newspaper (Bulgaria) in 1960.
His poems and other works where he used syllabic meter with a clear
Turkish language were published in Türkiye
newspaper and several journals such as Türk
Dili, Balkanlarda Türk Kültürü, Sevgi Yolu, Diyanet Çocuk, Simav Anadolu, Istranca Rüzgârı, Bizim Anayurt, Sabah,
Ümit, Zaman Bulgaristan, Kaynak,
Deliorman (Bulgaria), Birlik (Macedonia), Bay, İnci Dost (Kosovo), Tuna, Şafak (Greece).
He worked as editor in chief of journal Trakya Kalempublished by Corlu Authors'
Association since April 2003.
