Educator, syndicator, KESK President. He was
born in Kulp town of Diyarbakir in 1963. After completing his primary and
secondary school education; he graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of
Education, and Department of Biology in 1989. He worked as a teacher in Ankara
for a while. He participated in the organization efforts of employees in
education sector since 1990; and worked as Egitim Sen (Teacher’s union) Central
Trainer from 2001 onwards. He worked as Egitim Sen Ankara No.2 Branch Executive
Board member between the years 2000 and 2005. He was elected as MYK member in
2011 KESK Congress and became the President. He is married and father of one
child.
