Feridun Fazıl Tülbentçi

Novelist (b. 1912, İstanbul - d. 6 August 1982, İstanbul). He was a graduate of Vefa High School and High Commercial School. He worked at the Press and Publishing General Directorate for some time (1943-49), and then went into the newspaper business and worked on the newspapers Ulus, Vatan, Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet. He was a consultant and director of programs at İstanbul Radio (1959-66). He stared his literary career with poetry in 1929. His poems were published in the journal Varlık and in anthologies. Then he turned to writing historical novels. He prepared history discussions on Ankara and İstanbul Radio. (1942).
