Poet and critic (23 June
1923, Hocamsahlı village / Gadabay / Azerbaijan). After he graduated from Şeki
Institute of Pedagogic, he worked as a teacher in Kalbajar and Yevlak
districts. He was accepted to Azerbaijan Institute of Pedagogic. When he went
on studying in Faculty of Philology, he did department chairmanship of Azerbaijan Gençlik Newspaper. Then he
worked at different newspapers and reviews. He became an academician and then
an assistant professor in Nizami Institute of Literature. He published more
than forty works, in addition to translations. Some of his works were
translated in Russian. He came to Turkey because of different reasons. Some of
his poems were composed to music.
