Writer (b. 1 January 1941, Siverek / Şanlıurfa). He
attended primary school in Siverek and Ceylânpınar and at Siverek Elementary School
(1956). He did not complete his education at Ankara University,
Faculty of Law (1946-47). He graduated from The Academy of Adana Economics And
Commercial Studies (1977). He graduated from İstanbul
University, Institute of Business
Administration, Business Management Program
(1990). He worked at various jobs. He worked as a journalist and representative
teacher in Şanlıurfa between 1958 and 1960, journalist in İzmir and Ankara between 1960 and
1965, teacher, market house director, banker, free accountant in Şanlıurfa
between 1966 and 1974. He was invited to İstanbul to administer the newspaper Millî Gazete when he was in Şanlıurfa
in 1974. He was writing at the first page of this newspaper while he was editor
in chief. He left this office in 1976 and continued to write as a columnist –
periodically – until 1984.
Meanwhile he prepared a weekly economy page for the newspaper Yeni Devir. He worked with Master Necip
Fazıl Kısakürek during the preparations of the 1976 publication term of Büyük Doğu publications. He led
foundation of Çığır Publications Limited Company and worked as a general
director at this company for a time. As well as those, he worked as a unionist
(1968- 2001), controller at General Directorate of Turkish Red Crescent
Society, Research Planning Coordination expert at Turkish Maritime
Administration and responsible director assistant of finance at Turkish Red
Crescent Society, Ankara Region Directorate that imports and markets roentgen
and drug raw materials. He worked at Erzincan Earthquake in 1992 and in Azerbaijan
during the Karabağ events. He retired voluntarily in 1992 while he was working
at İstanbul Water and Canalization Direction where he started to work in 1992.
His first article Tevazu
(Modesty) was published in the newspaper Demokrat
Türkiye (1958) that was published in Şanlıurfa. His other articles were
published in the reviews and newspapers such as Derya (1958), Demokrat
Türkiye (1958-60), Hürsöz (1959), Müslümanın Sesi (1960), Demokrat Akdeniz (1961-62), İbret (1962), Oku (1962-63), Adalet (Ankara,
1962-65), Adalet (İzmir, 1963-65), Fedai (1963-65), Nobel (1963), Çağrı (1963), Yaprak (1963), Gurbet (1963), Yeni
İstiklal (1963), İslâm (1964), Hilal (1964-65), Komünizmle Mücadele (1964-65),
Şafak (1966), Millî Gazete (1974-84), Adım (1975), Akıncı Güç (1978), Yeni Devir
(1978) and Vakit (Akit, 1993). He
wrote weekly in the newspaper Akit between
1992 and 2002. He wrote various articles for the Şamil Islamic Encyclopedia and
Social Sciences Encyclopedia and came first at the article competition that was
held by the review İslâm in 1964. He
is a member of the Writers Union of Turkey.
