Faruk Çelik

Theologist and educator, politician and statesman. He was born on January 17, 1956 in Yusufeli, Artvin. His father's name is Yaşar and mother's name is Hedise. After graduating from Bursa High Islam Institute, he worked as a teacher in secondary schools and engaged in trade. He was among the founders of Justice and Development Party and got involved in politics. He was elected as Bursa Deputy in 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd periods and as Şanlıurfa Deputy in 24^th and 25^th periods. He was appointed as Minister of Labor and Social Security and Minister of State in 60^th Government. He was appointed as Minister of Labor and Social Security in 61st government again. He was elected as deputy in 21^st, 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th periods of TGNA. He is married and father of four children.
