Poet and short-story writer (b. 5 February, 1926, Çaycuma / Zonguldak). He lost his sight as a result of an accident when he was in the 10th class at Zonguldak Mehmet Çeliker School. He works for the Foundation for Supporting the Blind and is also involved in music. Some of his poems have been set to music and broadcast on radio. He tried to make a living from his poems and short stories. He received an award in the short story competition held by the journal Sesli Gazete, published by the Six Dots Association of the Blind. He is a member of the Writers Syndicate of Turkey.
