Caricaturist, author. He was born in 1956 in Samsun. He studied architecture in Yıldız University and Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ). After 1982 he drew a series of caricature called Kim Kime Dum Duma in Cumhuriyet newspaper. A side from his skill as a caricaturist, he also wrote and drew children books, wrote scenarios and contributed to documentary movies.

His plays were staged in State and City Theatres. He received with his play titled Bina Ministry of Cultural Affairs Special Prize in 1993, with his play titled Ayrılık staged in City Theatre in 1996, Cevat Fehmi Başkut Prize within the same year. In 1994 he directed a documentary movie titled Türk Sinemasında Sansürün Tarihi Siyahperde. With this movie he was awarded Best Documentary Movie Prize in 1994 Ankara Film Festival. With his play İki Çarpı İki he received Best Playwright Award in 2010. His comic-strip books were published in Turkey and Germany. Behiç Ak’s children books were published in Japan, Korea, German and China aside from Turkey. His play titled Tek Kişilik Şehir was staged in Prodüksiyon Tiyatrosu in 2003. Aside from his works below he also authored numerous children books.
