Cetin Tekindor, who has been married twice to actor Zerrin Tekindor, also has a
daughter named Hira.
Born
July 16, 1945, in Sivas. He graduated from Ankara State Conservatory in 1970.
To theatre scenes IV. Murat debuted with the game. Tekindor, who taught
"stage and diction" at Hacettepe University State Conservatory, then
held the same position at Bilkent University Theatre Department until 1998. His
recognition to a larger audience was when he voiced the character of Police
Chief Stewart McMillan, played by Rock Hudson, in the series McMillan and his
wife, which aired on TRT television in 1976-1977. Later, he became a very
famous sima with the 1983 TV series Küçük Ağa, directed by Yücel Çakmaklı.
His
first encounter with Beyazperde was with the film Kaçakak (1987), directed by
Başar Sabuncu and starring Müjde Ar. On the one hand, he acted in theater plays
and voiced for foreign films and TV series published in TRT, on the other hand,
he acted in series such as Döneç (1988), First Canan (1988) and TV films such
as Son Türbedar (1996), Kerem (1999). He then took on an important role in the
series Serpent story (1999), nicknamed Sinan The King, which achieved quite
large viewing rates.
This
was followed by the series circle of passion (2000), sorry Leyla (2002) and
rookie (2003). In the same year, he won the Best Actor award at the 2003 Ankara
Film Festival for his role in the second encounter of his career. Again in
2003, an Istanbul Fairy Tale series in which he starred achieved considerable
success on television screens. In 2004, he starred in the series Satan is
hidden in detail, based on Ahmet Umit's crime novel of the same name. In the
same year, he appeared in two motion pictures.
The
first of them was Istanbul, where 5 different Turkish directors signed 5
different stories, and the other was my father and Son, directed by Çağan
Irmak, who achieved a very big box office success in Turkey. This film, in
which he played Huseyin Efendi, the village leader of Izmir, gave Tekindor 27.
SIYAD Turkish Cinema Awards and 13. He won the Best Actor Award at the ÇASOD
Awards. Çetin Tekindor continues his acting in film and TV series.
Çetin
Tekindor, who has acted in many films and series so far and has voiced in many
films and series, played the role of Çandarlı Halil Pasha in Mehmed series,
which came to Kanal D screens in 2018. He played the character Abdulkadir
Geylani in the TV series Hay Sultan, in which he starred in 2021.
