Born
1966 in Ankara, Turkey. Murat Daltaban (born 1966) is a Turkish actor/theatre
director. After three years mining engineering study at the Middle East
Technical University (METU), he studied theatre at the Ankara University, graduated
in 1992. After he quit the National Theatre, he founded the DOT in 2005 with
Ozlem Daltaban and Suha Bilal, which is the first Turkish theatre that
performing plays associated with the in-yer-face theatre movement. DOT designed
as an open stage that enables flexibility and creativity, and had a huge
success.
