Social Services Specialist, Akademisyen, ÇYDD Board Member. Full names İbrahim Bülent İlik. He completed his masters and Phd degrees at the Hacettepe University’s Social Services Department of the Social Studies Institute. He is a Social Services Specialist.
He
was the director of the Sosyal Hizmetler ve Çocuk Esirgeme Kurumu (Social
Services and Child Protection Institution).
During that time, he prepared the necessary protocol for the transfer of
the Kocamustafapaşa Community Health Center to ÇYDD. He also carried on the
duties of General Coordinator of Social Projects for the Prime Ministerial
Management of GAP (Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi-Southeastern Anatolia Project for
dam construction) and of Councellor for the Prime Minister’s Office.
He
worked on the preparation, launch and implementation of numerous national and
international social service projects. He took part in many social service
works and research. He participated in
conferences and received prizes. He published books, research material and
articles.
He
worked with UNICEF and ILO (International Labor Organization). Between
“2009-2011” he started the Mardin Summer School project with his students from
the university and for three years he worked with pre-school and elementary
school age children.
He
gave participatory courses on children’s rights. Between “2012-2018” he did research and
prepared summer schools for Seasonal Women Workers and their children in Ordu,
Düzce, Adana ve Alaplı.
In
2017 and 2018 he worked together with his students on a local woman and child
development project that was run jointly by Muratpaşa Municipality and Başkent
University at a district in Antalya where substance abuse is prevalent.
He
continues to teach at Başkent University.
He
became a member of the ÇYDD Ankara branch and in 1999 he became the first
president of the Çankaya Branch which he started. He is still the Branch
President.
He
is a member of the Social Democracy Association and the Scientific Advisory
Board of the United Metal Workers Syndicates.
