Producer, director, poet and writer. He was born on 24 May 1970 (20
December 1970 in population registration) in Ortaköy village of Güneysu
district of Rize. He studied at the Rize Imam-Hatip High School, and as a
child, he memorized the Quran.
He worked as an art consultant in the program called “Gecedensabaha61” in
TRT FM. He wrote Radio Documentary Film Scenarios with Radio Theater and Stage
Theater plays. Due to the 25th Year of Independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina
(March 1, 2017 - February 28, 2018), he made and directed Aliya Izzetbegovic
documentaries in national and
international languages. He made interviews with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
and former President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir
Izzetbegovic for these documentary films. Television documentary films shot and
directed by him were released in Turkish, Arabic and Bosnian languages and
were released in Turkey and abroad (2017).
On 1 March 2017, T.C. Presidential Nation Congress and Exhibition Hall was
allocated to him as a civil organization for the first time and he coordinated
with the international participants, Our Wise Aliya Izzetbegovic Television
Documentary Film Gala Screening and the "25th Anniversary of Independence
of Bosnia and Herzegovina", as well as the subjects and speakers of the
presentations made in this framework and he directed the program.
On 19
October 2017 in Sarajevo At the Presidential level, as the first civilian
organization with national and international participants from Turkey He
coordinated the 'Alija, Posljednji Bedem Islama' Television Documentary Film
Gala Screening and “25 Years with Sarajevo” event, as well as the subjects and
speakers of the presentations within this framework, the participation of the
former Presidential Council President Bakir Izzetbegovic and he directed the
program.
On 27-28 February 2018, he coordinated the two-day international seminar on
'Aliya Between East and West' at the International Congresium Ankara Congress
and Exhibition Hall. He performed gala screening of "Ali" the TV
Documentary Film which original language
is Arabic. He prepared the seminar presentations for publication and published
them.
He made presentations, conferences and seminars about The last
quarter of Turkish literature and Turkısh man of letters and the war in Bosnia
and Herzegovina and the independence of the country, Aliya Izzetbegovic and
Cengiz Aytmatov in Turkey and abroad in various universities and municipal city
conference and public conference halls.
He made statements to local, national and international press and he attended
open sessions.
He used Hasan Basri Ediz, H. Ömer Erdoğan and Öm.Er. names in his products. He took place in literary journals such as Mavera, Ayane, Kültür Edebiyat, Edebiyat Ortamı, Yeni Edebiyat Yaprağı, 53 Rize, Hece ve Yörünge plus Gündüz and Yeni Asya newpapers and TV institutions such as TRT Avaz, TRT Türk, Kanal 58, Vuslat TV, Bursa TV, IGMAN TV, YouTube TV and websites such as dunyabizim.com, asanatlar.com and ulukanal.com with poetry, story, essay and criticism studies.
His first poem appeared in Mavera in 1987, his first book, Eski Sokak (drama-script)
was published in 1995. Ayane Interviews with Past and Present/ His book, which
was published in the name of A Quarter-Century View of Turkish Literature, was
published in Cümle Publications in 2016. Aliya Between East and West / He prepared
the 25th Anniversary of Independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the book
named Aliya Izzetbegovic for publication and was published as the first book of
KAF YAPIM-YAYIN. As the second book of the publishing house, the Awakening of
the Steppe prepared Cengiz Aytmatov for publication (2 volumes). Turkey Writers
Association members, Ömer Erdogan is married and has two children. Until
February 28, he worked under the Ministry of Culture, General Directorate of
Libraries for a while. He still works as a coordinator, producer, director at Kuzey Anadolu Film,
Production, Broadcasting, Advertising, Organization, Industry and Trade Ltd.
