·  BALKANPAZAR (2002) Cultural and Commercial Cooperation in the Balkans since 2002 http://www.balkanpazar.org/default_eng.asp

BALKANPAZAR is an initiative to create regional dynamism in Balkan region via regionalization of trade. BALKANPAZAR has a mission to lead trade and culture movement in harmony with the emergence of regional centers.

BALKANPAZAR aims prosperity of intra trade (intertrade) between Balkan countries as major trading pattern and to lessen domination of extra-Balkan trade volume in comparison.

Power of trade and its practical developmental affect is significantly vital herein.

BALKANPAZAR will serve as an attraction center effect to us and to the visitors entering to this influence area and gain new acquaintances  and connections to them.

Globalization makes trade contacts vitally important. Trade is to follow up appropriately of the opportunities and usage in correct time. Right decisions can be achieved by reaching to the knowledge from the first hand. By evaluating the chances it means that all BALKANPAZAR friends will enjoy the regional development and prosperity.

BALKANPAZAR is the philosophy of whom that believes trade also develops cultural contacts and friendship between participants. We must  develop our trade in our regions. The synergy with our friends in this region will provide a great economical dynamism  to BALKANPAZAR.

BALKANPAZAR reshapes our commercial inheritance axis in this region, and in parallel to rise of the regional powers pioneers to the movement of culture and trade.

Balkan region has witnesses the rise of an internal market which reaches from Black Sea to Adriatic and all the way to Russia, Central Asia and China.

Thus, from Debrecen in the most northeastern corner of Hungary all the way down to Istanbul, the hub of Euro-Asian trade, contours of a different region than the one defined by political and military mappings of states and armies are beginning to appear. Commerce through Southeastern Europe now reconstitutes the area as both distinct from and integrated into the world economy.

For more than fifteen years, we have been watching  the re-emergence of old trade routes and once forgotten cities as centers of trade in Southeastern Europe. the region has also witnessed the rise of a new merchant class  reconstitution of an internal market which reaches from Hungary to Turkey and from Black Sea to the Adriatic and, some would say, all the way to Russia, central Asia and China. New/Old market centers emerged in all parts of Balkans and central/eastern Europe during last fifteen years. Finally, Istanbul has again become the key commercial center for the entire region.

Trade ways serve as channels not only for the distribution of products but also for the distribution of different cultures. Trade and cultural  streams always mix together and speed up together. We can understand by looking to progress in Mediterranean region and silk road legend.

A new renaissance is in effect in the Balkans. As culturally richest region in the world, Balkans, leave the fluctuations of transitional period of 1990’s and proceed with creation of new universal culture based on the civilizations tracing down to antique era and empires.

Our objective is cooperation and prosperity of Balkan people as Turkish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Greek, Romanian, Moldovan, Albanian, Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian, Slovenian from Budapest to Istanbul, Gostivar to Varna, Zagreb to Sofia, Skopje to Bursa, Kishinev to Patras, Plovdiv to Erzurum, Danube banks to  Euphrates, Sarajevo to Prizren, Balkan peninsula to Anatolian peninsula, Agean to  Mediterranean, Black Sea to Adriatic.

POSTS ABOUT LEVENT AĞAOĞLU

POSTS ABOUT LEVENT AĞAOĞLU

Today, there are very few Turks in the Pacific basin, including China, with an importer identity. For example, in Hong Kong, which is the best point of contact with China, there are close to a hundred Turks. A few others, such as Bottle Glass and Ekinciler, are in Hong Kong as the import link base.

The Turkish exporter, who put all of his eggs in the basket of Europe and America, is missing big opportunities in the Pacific, especially China, the rising star of the next millennium. The actors of our foreign trade, needs an immediate understanding reform.

Levent Ağaoğlu is at the head of the Pacific region of Şişe Cam, Turkish Glass Works. Ağaoğlu prepared two major researches on the Pacific Era and Turkey to be submitted to Mr Güneş Taner, Minister of Economy. He has studied both the Chinese market and the Asia-Pacific market in comparison. I've been studying the research for three days, backed up by an extensive sources. The reports given to Minister Taner should be taken into consideration. Because, since 1988, with the identity of exporter, it contains information about the golden value obtained by Turkish Glass Works Sise Cam from the region. There are observations coming from practice, rather than dry and book report.

The essence of Ağaoğlu's research is; The world's new giant market is formed in this region. Here we can export $ 1 billion in a snap. The Ottomans, who could not get out of the Mediterranean, missed the great opportunity of the Atlantic. Now the Pacific Basin is yet untouched and awaiting the influx of our exporters.

First of all, you'll know the region, the tradition, it is imperative to speak Chinese. The Chinese are tough bargains. They keep respect in everything. The Chinese partner means creating a huge demand. I think we should pay more attention to the Sinology departments of our universities, especially big companies should start employing Chinese-speaking readers and writers.

SMEs must unite and open offices in Hong Kong. Office expenses are very high in this metropolis. Maybe it makes no sense to you, but you better start learning abacus. Even though I'm a guy who travels with an E-cell and an HP handheld computer, I'm saying that English isn't enough to keep up with it. At least 1.5 billion people use the 2,000-year-old Abacus, at least 1 billion people speak the most common language in the world, especially Mandarin. Maybe THY's direct flight here will help our entrepreneur who wants to sail to the Pacific.

Today is the most important day of official contacts in Hong Kong. One-week intensive program, we will see the end of the summit we can tell to what extent the world economy in Turkey.

Şeref Oğuz September 25, 1997 http://www.milliyet.com.tr/writers/cin-desi-2-5375500

..............................................

These Anatolian lands that we live on have always maintained their position as a central country in a process that extends from a depth of history that begins with fertile crescent to the energy silk roads of the future.

Unless a rodeo master rides in his agility, these lands have buried many empires of countless conquerors for centuries, with a raving scurvy over him. The eternal worldly power of Alexander, Timur and Hülagü was not enough to hold on to this land.

The grandchildren of Oguz, who are the last owners of this Anatolian land extending to the Mediterranean, have been here for a thousand years and challenge the world as the owner of this crazy geography of history. They set up history, build civilizations. In the early years of the third millennium, Oğuz's grandchildren, who attacked with a resurrection move, take steps to rebuild this geography and realize giant projects.

Here, Levent Agaoglu makes a dynamic geography reading on the one hand in this work which he weaves like a lace around the Cyprus symbol. On the other hand, he explores the codes of breaking the geopolitical claws established by the predatory Crusader mentality. It gives clues. It offers a road map that symbolically places Cyprus at its center.

This revelation is sometimes transformed into a poet's strings in his distinctive style, sometimes to the carefully placed cue stones of a traveler, sometimes to the sharp sword of a cavalry, and sometimes to the prayers of a dervish…

You will read this book in a breath with a density that will fit a book in every sentence.

Ahmet Kot

Preface; Cyprus is the Center of the World, 2018

................................................

In these last days of 2018, I wanted to share the news that “You are the Thought” has been published from Girdap Kitap and has taken its place on the shelves everywhere the book is sold.

In contrast to our other books, in fact, “You are the Thought”, is an Interview book. My dear friend, writer and intellectual Mr. Levent Ağaoğlu revealed my ideas, projects, futuristic predictions and even my imaginary world with skillfully asked questions. Ağaoğlu’s analysis and synthesis even has clarified my dreams and Utopia’s.

Levent Bey,

You have dealt with a very important issue with your usual cognition.

Recently, as with introduction of nomadic Olympics, the issues of identification of Turkishness with nomadism should be considered carefully.
