Writer. He was born in Islahiye / Gaziantep in 1951. He is the son of Mystic-poet Mustafa Necati Ak. He completed his secondary education at Adana Imam Hatip High School (1970) and Adana Boys’ High School (1971). After graduating from Istanbul Economic and Commercial Sciences Academy (Marmara University today) in 1977 and he completed his masters’ degree at Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics (1979). He continued with his work as a sworn consultant in Istanbul.

His first story was published at Pınar journal in 1971. He was known with his stories and articles published in several journals and newspapers such as Pınar (1973-78), İlim, Kültür ve Sanatta Gerçek (1978-79), Kitap Dergisi, Bilgi ve Hikmet, Sözleşme, Umran and Bayrak (1976-78, 1980-88). He is a member of Writers Union of Turkey.

WORKS:

NOVEL: Eyfel’de Karnaval (his two stories along with his novel under same name, 1976).

ESSAY: Ara Dönemde İslâm ve Müslümanlar.

STORY: Bir Kayıp Sevda (2002).
