Poet and writer (b. 16 August 1945, Eyüp / İstanbul).  His real name is İsmail Sulhi Coşkuner. He attended Altunizade Primary School (1956), Bahçelievler Secondary School (1959) and graduated from Ankara Atatürk High School (1962) and Ankara University, Political Sciences Faculty (1966). He worked as an economist and director at the General Directorate of the Petrol Office (1969-75) and as director and member of the administrative committees of various companies.

His first article, “Dünkü Törende Neler Gördüm?” (What Did I See at the Ceremony Yesterday?), was published in the newspaper Ankara Telgraf in May 1960.  From then he had his works published in newspapers and journals such as Ankara Telgraf (1960), Yeni İstanbul (1962), Devrim (1970), Türkiye Yazıları (1977-80), Kurtuluş (1971), Cumhuriyet (1977-78), Demokrat (founder, 1980), Yamaç (1984), Su (1984-85), Dönem (1984), Yarın (1984), Dünya (1984), Broy (1989-90), Dilizi (1993), Türkiye Yazıları, Ekonomi etc. He received the first rank in a competition organized by the newspaper Yeni İstanbul in 1962.  He is one of the founders of Kalem Publishing (İzmir-Ankara, 1987). He is a member of the Mülkiye Alumni and the Turkish Authors Association.
