Writer (b. 27 January 1907, Tekirdağ - d. 8 January in 1967, Ankara). Completing his Secondary education in Kabataş High school for Boys (1925), he graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law (1928). After he worked as a public prosecutor and judge in Pazarcık, Edirne and Kayseri, he left his job and began to work in journalism. Working at the Ministry of Justice for some time (1946-57), he returned to journalism and worked as columnist on the newspaper Ankara Zafer. When he was working at the Ankara Administration of Justice Library, he died. He is buried in Cebeci Graveyard.

His first play was published in the journal Hareket (1927), his first stories were published in newspaper Haber (1935). He dealt with National Struggle and bureaucracy issues. He won the third prize in the Republican People’s Party 1947 Play Competition with his play Bir Gemi (A Ship).

NOVEL: Yeşilkaya Savcısı (The Public Prosecutor of Yeşilkaya, 1955), Var Olmak (To Exist, 1957), Dur Göl (Remaining Lake, 1961), Hükümet Meydanı (Government Square, 1962), Vatan Tutkusu (Homeland Passion, 1967).

PLAY: Ceza Hakimi (Judge of Punishment, 1940), Bir Gemi (A Ship, 1942), Suavi Efendi (Suavi Efendi, 1962).
