Poet (b. 24 August 1928, Gelibolu /
Çanakkale – d. 29 November 1980, Trabzon). He graduated from Kabataş High
School (1947) and İstanbul University, Faculty of Medicine (1954). He completed
his probation at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital and became an internal medicine
specialist. He worked as a doctor in Artvin, Tunceli, Tire and Trabzon.
His poems were published in the reviews
Folklor Postası and Varlık from 1944. After his
earlier poems, in which lyrical elements were dominant, he gravitated towards
more contemplative poetry.
