Writer of children’s literature (b. 1 March 1950, Mucur / Kırşehir). He graduated from Erciyes University, Faculty of Theology (1975). He worked as a teacher and manager at Adıyaman Gölbaşı High School (1976-77), Ordu Fatih High School (1978-84) and Ankara Başkent High School (1984-89). After 1989, he worked at the Ministry of National Education, Film-Radio-TV and Education Center as assistant to the director, specialist and press advisor. He retired in 2002.

From 1968, his works written in various areas of children literature have been published in the magazines Okul-Aile Birlikleri (1968-71), Türkiye Çocuk (1984-87), Diyanet Çocuk (1982-88), Gül Çocuk (1985-86), Kandil Çocuk (1986-87), Kıvılcım Çocuk (1995-96) as well as in the children’s and family pages of the newspapers Zaman, Türkiye and Yeni Asya. He received the Ministry of Culture 1987 Children Literature Award with his book Tek Kanatlı Güvercin (The Single-Winged Pigeon) and the Writers Union of Turkey 2000 Children’s Literature Award. He is a member of Writers Union of Turkey and the Professional Association of Scientific and Literary Work Owners of Turkey.

CHILDREN’S SHORT STORY: Değirmenden Gelen Haber (News Coming from the Mill, 1983), Cambazhane Meralı (Circus Deer, 1983), İbibik Yuvası (Hoopoe Nest, 1986), Gül Ahmet (Rose Ahmet, 1986), Anneler ve Kızlar (Mothers and Daughters, 1990), Bayram Şenliği (Festival Merriment, 1990).

CHILDREN’S NOVEL: Pembe Kızın Ölümü (Death of the Pink Girl, 1986), Sakıncalı Yumurcak (Dangerous Brat, 1987), Tek Kanatlı Güvercin (The Single-Winged Pigeon, 1986), Üç Kişilik Mutluluk (Happiness for Three, 1987).

In addition, his fairytales and four translations have been published.
