Poet and musician (b. 22 November 1941, Malatya - d. 20 October 2008, Ankara). He is the son of M. Salih San who was a poet and writer. He attended Besni İstiklal Primary School, Akçadağ Secondary School and graduated from Ankara Ataturk Evening High School and Başkent Journalism and Public Relations Advanced School. He worked in different jobs in the state and private sector. He was a stage artist in the area of Turkish Art Music abroad and in Turkey. In 1966 he organized a poetry exhibition called Desenli Şiir (Patterned Poem). He is the lyric writer of Gitmesin Gözlerimden Pırıl Pırıl Arzular (Shining Desires Are Never Lost), Söyleme Bilmesinler Bu Aşkın Bittiğini (Don’t Tell, They Don’t Know this Love Has Ended). He has received many awards in the “Best Loved Songs of the Year Awards” organized by Milliyet newspaper since 1978. He is a board member of the Music Association.

His first poem, Cici Kız (Pretty Girl), was published in Resimli Posta newspaper (Ankara, 1961). Since then his articles and poems have been published in many newspapers such as Türkiye İktisat Gazetesi, Yeni Adana, Yörem, Yeni Söke, Yeşilyurt and the reviews Bizim Ece, Çağrı, Gülpınar, Öner, Sevgi Yolu, Defne, Atatürk Yolu, Çağdaş, Bulancak, Aksu. He has been manager of some of these reviews and newspapers. He has supervised the poetry page of Çizgi Ötesi newspaper since 2001.
