department for a while and as a researcher in the Department of Manuscripts at International Research Centre of Islamic
Culture and Arts (IRCICA) (1987-1990, 1992-1996). He studied on
manuscripts at
İhsan Fazlıoğlu, who
concentrated on the history of “Philosophy-Science” and history and philosophy
of mathematics, especially studied the development of these structures within
the Islamic and Turkish History of Civilization based on the manuscript resources.
Fazlıoğlu, who has submitted papers to many national and international
symposiums, continued working as a lecturer at History of Philosophy Department,

within symposium communication books. He performed issue editorship in some of
the journals where his articles were being published. He was a member of the editorial
board and one of the article authors of the Yaşamları ve Yapıtlarıyla Osmanlılar Ansiklopedisi.
